Eberhard EichenhoferBorn in 1950, he studied law and political science at the University of Tübingen and Saarbrücken. Since 1997, he holds the chair in labor law/social security law/civil law at the Friedrich-Schiller-University of Jena. He works frequently as an expert on problems of co-ordination of social security for the EU Commission and national institutions. His lectures at the University of Jena are focused on German and European civil, labor, and social security law. His publications concentrate on German, European, and international social security law. He is the German representative within the European Institute of Social Security.
